We miss you & thank you
Michael, Clarissa, Kirsty and Lewis along with the rest of the Oxford family would like to say thank you to all our customers and to South Canterbury. The support we have received and the kind messages has been overwhelming – it is greatly appreciated, a real morale boost and a confidence that we are going to be alright. All of our team see these messages and are very proud to be a part of the Oxford and a part of the Timaru community. We love the effort that has gone into supporting one another and their livelihoods. Kia Kaha South Canterbury.
Dining at Covid Levels
We are not going to offer takeaways during level 3. We have been asked many times, but it’s not right for us. The Oxford offers the entire experience of hospitality and don’t want to move away from that focus. There are some amazing businesses offering great food for you to enjoy at home and we too will be indulging, so please support those local businesses.
At level 2 we will reopen our doors with our focus on making it as safe as possible for you and our team, we will have strict procedures in place in line with government guidelines.
We will open with a new menu and big smiles, with the warm hospitality we have become renowned for. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day is by far the busiest day of the year at the Oxford. We love sharing the day with all your families. Not being able to celebrate this day is disappointing, but doesn’t mean Mum has to miss out on her favourite special Brunch/Lunch/Dinner.
Buy Mum a voucher as a rain check to come and celebrate how fabulous she is on another day. The voucher can be purchased online and is emailed immediately.

Home Brew Competition 2020
Its on again, South Canterbury’s top home brewer. With Level 3 you will be able to get your supplies and enter our competition to be judged in October. There are several categories and judging will be overseen by a professional and follow the Brewers Guild guidelines. All entries will be given feedback on their brews. Winners will be announced at the Oxtoberfest party (Covid permitting)

Upcoming Events
Right now we are working on our events for the year. The Oxford has offered a unique point of difference with running these special events since we opened. We want to continue these with some getting a tweak to meet the new environment we are in. We are waiting for the confirmation of level 2 and what that will look like for us before announcing these events and dates.
All your favourites will be there – Winemakers dinners, theme dinners, the roast series, Oxtoberfest, Casino night, wine tastings, beer nights… and more.
